More than a flat preview.
A workbook you can explore.
XLSX is the native workbook format of the GridCraft engine. The viewer is designed to display worksheet data, styles, formulas, and workbook objects rather than flattening the workbook into a static image. Compatibility is still developing: review complex charts, print layouts, and advanced formulas before relying on the result.

A FEW PRACTICAL ANSWERS
Before you open
that workbook.
Your file stays local. Your original stays intact. Your next step stays simple.
What is an XLSX file?
XLSX is the XML-based workbook format used by modern Excel and many other spreadsheet applications. It can contain multiple sheets, formulas, formatting, and other workbook objects.
Are formulas recalculated?
The engine includes a formula calculation system. Unsupported functions or workbook features may produce different results; always verify important calculations.
Will charts look exactly like Excel?
Exact rendering is not guaranteed. Chart and layout support is still evolving in the alpha engine.
Can I view an XLSX file on a phone?
The editor can be opened on a modern phone browser, but the full ribbon workspace is best used on a laptop, desktop, or larger tablet.
