WHY IT HELPS
Built around
the real task.
Receipts, issues and adjustments with automatic stock, reorder points and a buy list.
Stock that keeps itself
On hand = opening + received − issued + adjustments. No more editing quantities by hand.
Reorder points from real usage
Average daily usage over the last 90 days × supplier lead time + safety stock. Busy items reorder sooner automatically.
A purchase list, not just a warning
Reorder lists what to buy, how many and what it will cost, grouped with the supplier.
GETTING STARTED
Three steps
to your own version.
The sample shows a working example; the blank version keeps every formula ready for your records.
Set up items
Enter each SKU with unit cost, opening quantity, safety stock, lead time and supplier.
Record movements
Log deliveries as receipts, sales or use as issues, and stock-count differences as adjustments.
Order from the list
Open Reorder, check the suggestions and place your orders.
QUESTIONS
Before you begin.
Short answers about how the workbook behaves.
How is the suggested order worked out?
Enough to bring stock up to the reorder point plus a cover period (30 days by default) of usage.
What if an item has no sales yet?
Its usage is zero, so the reorder point equals safety stock until movements build up.
Does it value stock at FIFO or average cost?
It uses the unit cost on Items. For accounting valuation methods, use your accounting system.
Can I track several locations?
Use one workbook per location, or add the location to the SKU (for example TOTE-WH1).
How do I keep my changes?
Use Download XLSX or PDF in the editor before closing the tab. Nothing is saved to a server automatically, and your workbook never leaves your device while you edit.
Will it work in Excel and Google Sheets?
The files use standard XLSX formulas without macros, pivot tables or external links. They are checked with the ExcelCraft engine; compatibility with every Excel or Google Sheets version is not guaranteed. Review formulas, charts and formatting in your app before relying on important figures.
Can I change the currency?
Amounts use a $ number format. Change the cell format to your currency; the formulas do not convert between currencies.
